The Children's Hospital in Sonora is a modern building, but is quite different from the facilities we are familiar with in the United States. Childdren are brought here from all parts of Sonora and many times the parents who have no relatives in Hermosillo find it necessary to literally live on the hospital grounds. There are some facilities where they can stay, but most refuse because they need to save all their money to buy medicine. Amber and Jose minister to these parents by providing food, prayer for their children and of course the Gospel.

After ministering on the hospital grounds for several years the hospital gave her permission to go upon the floors and visit the children. Many children received Christ as Savior in their rooms. Along wth the Bibles they also received copies of our Discipleship series of our lessons.
