Nathan entered Mexico when he was thirteen and ministered in the villages for eight years. When he was twenty he married Isela and they continued ministering in villages until the Lord led him to prepare to be a missionary pilot. They have a daughter named Natalie. Nathan has obtained avionics and airframe certificates and is now preparing for pilot training.
